​Whether you’re running your own Tezos baker or just getting started, this is the session for you. Join us at TezDev 2025 in Cannes for a hands-on workshop and idea sprint designed to help bakers thrive. Expect practical guidance, juicy setup tips, and real-world stories from the front lines of baking on Tezos.

​🕚 11:00 – 12:20 |  Workshop: “Setting Up a Baker” with Chris Pinnock (Chief Baker)

​We will learn about the basic components of the Octez software: the Node, the DAL Node and the Baker. We will set up a Tezos Baker on the test network Rionet. You will be able to follow along on a virtual machine or just watch in amazement at how easy it is. We will then talk about setting up a production baker on Tezos mainnet.

​A hands-on session to get your baker up and running: Bring your laptop – this is an interactive setup session!
