About Event

Terra Talent, a Climate Tech talent advisory firm, is hosting an exclusive Climate networking event + panel at the SOSV offices in New York City during New York Climate Week. The agenda is below:

  • 5:30 - 6 pm: Drinks + Snacks

  • 6 - 6:45 pm: Panel

  • 6:45-7:30: Networking

The panel will focus on the importance of execution, upskilling, and inclusivity in powering the transition to a green economy. The panelists include:

  • Dolly Singh (Host) - Dolly Singh has led growth at game-changing companies across aerospace (SpaceX), consumer technology (Oculus VR), finance (Citadel), and SaaS (Servicetitan) for 20+ years. The California wildfires inspired her to found Terra Talent, an advisory and talent services firm working to catalyze the climate tech industry, with the ultimate mission of global-scale planetary restoration.

  • Anum Chandani - Anum Chandani is the Vice President of Energy Storage at CleanCapital and oversees Energy Storage strategy, acquisition & development. Anum has 9 years’ experience in the energy industry. Previously Anum was a senior investment associate in the structured finance group at Madison Energy Investments where she managed $110 M tax equity fund with IGS & led Tax Equity financing for solar & energy storage projects. Before that Anum led Global Market Intelligence for Rig Performance Technology Product Line (Product Revenue $1B USD) at Schlumberger -World’s largest Oil Service company. Anum started her career as a field engineer on oil & gas rigs across the Pakistan & Middel East. Anum earned her bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from National University of Science & Technology (where she graduated on dean’s list) and earned her MBA from Harvard Business School

  • Kristy Drutman - Kristy Drutman, otherwise known as “Browngirl Green” is a speaker, consultant, media producer, and environmental educator passionate about working at the intersections between media, diversity, and environmentalism. As an entrepreneur and climate communications expert, Kristy has educated hundreds of thousands of people across the globe about modern-day environmental issues through speeches and media content as well as facilitates workshops centered around environmental media and storytelling in cities across the United States. She has been invited to the White House multiple times as an on-ground reporter, was featured in Teen Vogue, NY Times, Refinery 29 among many other publications, is a Grist 50 under 50 recipient and a Create and Cultivate Top 100 creator. Kristy is also the Co-Founder of the Green Jobs Board, a climate tech start-up bridging the equity and inclusion gap within the green economy through conversations, resources, and pathways to bring more diverse talent into the environmental field.

  • Maddie Hall - Maddie is the CEO & Co-founder of Living Carbon, a climate change biotech company. Living Carbon’s mission is to responsibly rebalance the planet’s carbon cycle using the inherent power of plants. The team develops photosynthesis-enhanced seedlings that capture more carbon and metal accumulating seedlings to clean soil and increase the duration of stored carbon. Prior to Living Carbon, Maddie worked on special projects at OpenAI and held various roles in VC and product management.

  • Sabriya Stukes - Sabriya Stukes is the Chief Scientific Officer for IndieBio NY, a startup development program of SOSV, a global venture capital firm providing multi-stage investment to founders making an impact on human and planetary health. A microbiologist, educator and science communicator, her expertise is in working with individuals to identify unmet community needs, design sustainable solutions, think critically about the world around them and craft compelling scientific narratives. 

  • Shruti Sane - As the Global Eco Efficiency PMO, Shruti sits at the intersection of Sustainability, Data Analytics and Engineering projects working cross functionally across different teams in Global Real Estate. She leads the development and execution of Deutsche Bank's commitment to achieve 100% renewable electricity use while reducing carbon footprint of own operations towards Net Zero commitment, including Scope 3 emissions. She is passionate about developing data solutions and strives to successfully deliver data-driven recommendations that enable intelligent and sustainable business decisions. Creating awareness and enhancing knowledge in the Real Estate Sustainability space towards the Global effort of decarbonization is a major goal and driving factor for Shruti.
