​2024 is the breakout year for Trusted Execution Environments (TEE) in both mainstream and crypto alike.

Within the Web3 context, TEEs are making a significant impact in the Ethereum ecosystem with a high-performance Flashbots TEE Builder running in production on Ethereum main net, and TEE Prover implementations on L2s like Scroll. TEEs are also being actively explored within the Cosmos ecosystem - TEEs being a critical component of the CoFi roadmap.

TEEs are here to stay in our everyday life, as confidential compute taking off. What role can the crypto ecosystem play to contribute to the hardening the security and supply chain integrity of the TEE Stack?

Flashbots would like to invite fellow researchers and developers from both the Web 2 and Web3 TEE communities, to join us at our TEE Salon, we can sip on some fine teas while exploring the security, development and applications of the TEE Stack, and the fledgling Open TEE initiative.
