Join us for an insightful fireside chat with Natalie Glance, Chief Engineering Officer at Duolingo, as she shares her amazing journey bringing science to startups.

Before helping build one of the most downloaded education apps on the planet, Natalie worked at iconic companies like PARC and Google. She also holds a B.A. in Physics from Princeton University and a Ph.D. in Physics from Stanford University.

During this talk, you'll learn how product & engineering teams are structured at Duolingo, Natalie's take on the future of AI, and how technology can be used to positively change the world.

🔎 Natalie Glance, Chief Engineering Officer @ Duolingo. Extensive experience with startups and established companies in applied research, collaborative systems, social media analysis, software, and engineering management. Natalie has published over 30 peer-reviewed papers in the areas of text mining, fake review detection, recommender systems, and multi-agent systems. She holds 17 U.S. patents. She is on the program committee and/or a reviewer for a number of conferences, workshops, and journals, including KDD, CEAS, ACL, WWW, WSDM, CIKM, and AIRWeb.

🔎 Yuri Danilchenko, Co-founder & CTO @ Latitud
Yuri is the mastermind behind building a product culture at Latitud. Before that, he was the CTO at Escale, where he scaled their tech operations after a Series B and built a diverse team of over 60 Engineers, PMs, and Designers, of which 35% were women.
