Session #2: 11.00 am - 11.45 am

Title: Combining the powers of Search with LLMs to build domain specific Generative AI applications

LLMs are among the best NLP models available today and have completely taken over the AI/ML space. Even though they are able to accurately respond to the majority of your questions, they are primarily hindered by two issues: first, hallucinations, in which the LLM will confidently answer your question incorrectly, and second, outdated responses, meaning that because they lack access to the most recent data, their responses will not reflect the most recent developments. We will discuss how we use Search to address these two shortcomings in today's session using a technique known as Retrieval-Augmented Generation.

Speaker: Sidharth Suvarna

Sidharth is a Senior Engineer @ UniCourt building the core infrastructure for UniCourt’s lightning-fast Search Engine used by thousands of Legal Professionals to do complex Legal Research.
