Josh Levine is the Co-Founder and CEO of Private Market Labs, a new platform designed to facilitate the small business M&A ecosystem.
Josh has a public policy and entrepreneurship background, which speaks to the way he focuses on using technology to help people by solving structural problems in the ways market transactions take place. This passion comes out in his work to make the small business M&A market more efficient, working directly with stakeholders to increase access.
Josh has a deep interest in the intersection between finance, organizational analysis, and public policy, and worked in credit analysis prior to pursuing entrepreneurship. This includes a stint at Lord Abbett, where he managed a $2B portfolio of tax-exempt fixed-income investments across multiple industries.
A native of Texas and resident of Austin, Josh received his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt and a Masters in Public Affairs from The University of Texas.
He is active in the Austin public policy community as past President of the LBJ School of Public Affairs Alumni Board, and as a member of the LBJ School Advisory Council.
