About Event

Tech Talks is a supportive (and free-to-join) CYPeer Group to help you navigate your career in the tech industry with confidence. Each month we will meet to offer career advice, job search resources, guest speakers, and more, along with free coffee and light breakfast.

Join us on Thursday, August 21st from 8:30-9:30am at Franklin University in Fisher Hall (Room 168), located 300 E Main St, Columbus, OH 43215. This month, we will be joined by Jacob Oglesbee, a recent Franklin University graduate with cyber security degree. He is the president of the ACM Club at Franklin and is a very involved professional in cyber security practice and education.

Jacob will present on the following topic: "Classroom to Cyber Shield: Alumni Stories & How to Secure Your Future"

Come join us for a brisk, story-driven journey from one of Franklin University's recent graduates on his journey from Student to System Architect. This talk with spotlight ACM Projects, real-world DevOps Wins, and touch on how AI is breaching into the industry. We invite our fellow students, alumni, and community on the next wave of secure, innovative technology.

Parking is free in Lots A and C. All members & guests are welcome, but please register below.
