​About your host: Emily Chertow, she/her, is the founder of @journalingclasses. She is a Brooklyn-based creative, often spending time in parks with friends and coffee shops with her journal. Emily is passionate about advocating for mental health, human connection, and the power of putting pen to paper. Emily has put pen to paper with over 9k people and is passionate about holding space that is inclusive, safe, and welcoming to all!

​Cha& is a modern tea bar focused on serving high quality, great tasting tea and coffee drinks for anytime of the day, everyday. We’re obsessively focused on our guest experience handcrafting each drink, while providing real hospitality in a welcoming environment. Our menu only has tea, coffee, and real food ingredients. Everything is prepared, steeped, or brewed to order for our guests. Our space is designed to be large and welcoming with lots of seating and natural light. The moment our guests step into the tea bar, they are greeted like family and are inducted into a culture of genuine connection over transaction, unwinding, and enjoying exceptional tea. Every part of our experience from start to finish is designed to bring people together to share moments, conversations, & experiences.
