Dr. Nellie Deutsch (Ed.D) is a Canadian educator, researcher, and global trainer with over 40 years of experience in teaching English as a second/foreign language. She is also an experienced English for Science and Technology (EST) teacher, with a deep understanding of the challenges researchers face when writing in academic English.
Dr. Nellie is the founder of Integrating Technology for Active Lifelong Learning and has trained over 100,000 educators worldwide on using technology and AI in research and education.
Dr. Deutsch currently teaches in the IMT MSc program in Immersive Technologies and volunteers with TESOL International as Past Chair of CALL-IS. She is passionate about helping researchers around the world communicate their ideas with confidence and clarity.
