About Event

This event is dedicated to filmmakers, content creators, and film enthusiasts, celebrating the power of storytelling, creativity, and collaboration. We will showcase short films from around the world centered on the theme of "Your Story", where you will have the opportunity to vote for the Audience Award.

You will have the chance to network with fellow filmmakers and industry professionals. This session is held in collaboration with Kyoto Filmmakers Lab.

15:45- Doors Open

16:00 - 17:00 - Screening of Short Film "The Story You Want to Tell" Films from France, Lebanon, Poland, UK, US, Japan.

17:00 - 17:30 - Networking Session

17:30 - 18:30 - Presentations by Soraya Umewaka (MatchHat, CEO), Yutaka Izumihara (Actor), Takeshi Yagi (Film Director) followed by panel Discussion: "Collaboration and Bringing Films to Life".

Fee: Free of charge. You do not need to buy a museum ticket.

Can I come with friends? Absolutely. They do not need to register.

Once you arrive to the 6th floor, turn left and walk straight to the 3rd tatami room (2nd last room). We will display MatchHat signs.

The MatchHat signs may not be so clear. Please make sure you're in the right room as the tatami rooms look identical. If you do not see lots of MatchHat signage in the presentations, you may be in the wrong room.

Food and drinks: We are allowed food or drinks on the premises but please feel free to bring a thermos bottle or water bottle.

There will be an afterparty!
