Reflections on the Dubai Future Forum: Voices from the Margins (Session 1: Africa/MENA/Asia))

​The Dubai Future Forum took place between 19-20 November and focused around four themes:

​1) Futuring Nature

​2) Empowering Generations

​3) Optimising Health

​4) Transforming Humanity

​This represents the third annual event and the DFF has made significant improvements in content, participation, organisation, etc. The Forum is an intense two-day event packed with activities, sessions, and events, with numerous networking opportunities provided. The Swarm session would be open to all but primarily oriented toward individuals who attended the 2024 event.

​This Swarm Session will allow participants to pause and reflect on the Forum and identify whose voices and narratives dominated the conversations and whose voices were marginalised. Breakout rooms will be organised around the four themes with interactive activities happening in the small groups and a closing feedback session in the last 20 minutes.
