Clothing Swap & Coffee

​Sustainable fashion and delectable treats, what's better? As we eagerly anticipate the grand opening of Cardoon's new space coming February 2024, we invite you to take part in a clothing swap and coffee event.

​Bring your gently worn clothes, shoes, and jewelry for swapping, and take home some fun new pieces for your closet. While you browse, enjoy coffee and sweet treats available for purchase, supporting an incredible local business.

​Cardoon is a cozy cafe and bar opening inside the Ballard Yards building in early 2024. They specialize in house-made Chinese and German-influenced bites, great espresso, and specialty drinks.

​Please bring 3-15 items (clothes, shoes, and accessories) to swap that are in good condition, clean, folded, and put in a sturdy box or tote, arrive at 10:00 am to set up your items before the swap begins at 10:45 am, and take home up to 15 items from the event.

​Event coordinators will donate items after the event is over to Mary's Place, Supporting Homeless Women with Children.

​10:00 am - Arrive to set up clothes

​10:30 am - Welcome & Cardoon Intro

​10:45 am - 1:00 pm - shop, sip, and mingle
