This is a free and in-person event.

There will be an afterparty in conjunction with Startup TNT at 7pm. For those interested, the group will move from Edmonton Unlimited to Startup TNT's Thursday Night Happy Hour at Northern Chicken.

Bios of Panelists

Allie Knull, CPHR, SHRM-SCP, RPR

Allie’s passion for talent management has spanned her twenty-year career. Although her career started with international companies, Allie’s recent focus is helping small and scaling business owners master their talent management. Her absolute disgust for resumes was the driving force behind her start-up, ResumeFree™, where they inclusively move top talent from inbox to interview, with their revolutionary screening-as-a-service platform.

Allie is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) with CPHR Alberta, a Senior Chartered Professional with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP) and a Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) with the Institute of Professional Management. She is a Top Recruiter™ in Canada 2019 Award winner, placing 10th overall.


Deanna Brousseau

Deanna is a dedicated Human Resources professional and currently working as the Director of Talent Acquisition at AltaML. Deanna's team has an unwavering commitment to creating an equitable, elevated, and enjoyable recruitment experience throughout the candidate journey.

Leading with empathy is not just a skill Deanna possesses; it is an integral part of her identity. She firmly believes in treating individuals with compassion and respect, recognizing the value each person brings. In the realm of technology, Deanna finds her true calling. Joanna Lee

Joanna Lee is the Product & Performance Analyst on the Talent team at Amii. Through her work with Lighthouse Labs, she developed a passion for supporting individuals pivoting their careers into tech. Since joining Amii as a Program Coordinator, Joanna has proven experience in program delivery, operations management, and student advisement. She is excited to leverage data-driven insights to power programs for emerging talent in Edmonton.

 
Joanna earned her BSc in Psychology from the University of Alberta. In her spare time, she enjoys finding new music and taking her dog around the world in a backpack.


Veronica Sullivan

Veronica Sullivan is a designated Chartered Professional of Human Resources, is a dynamic People & Culture Lead at Drivewyze with a proven track record in coaching, talent management and enhancing strategic initiatives. With a focus on recruitment, candidate journey improvements, and providing ongoing guidance and support.

Her expertise extends to leading teams across North America, driving office logistics, and ensuring compliance with security and audit requirements. Passionate about empowering talent, Veronica's contributions have made a significant impact in the Edmonton tech ecosystem, fostering growth and success in the industry.
