Just in time for Earth Day and other events that make this the busiest time of year for those who participate in community events and lead interactive experiences with the public. Here's an opportunity to gather 20 ideas in 20 minutes.

Call for Presenters:
I am looking for an additional 19 environmental leaders willing to share one idea they've used to engage with the public at community events. Here is how this session will work:
Each presenter will have 55 seconds to share their idea and to show what it looks like.
Each presenter will provide one image showing this activity. A slide will be prepared for this image. Presenters are asked to submit their images the week before so that I can prepare the slideshow in advance.
Each presenter will share a link (or links) in the chat so attendees can leave with resources for their teaching toolkits.
The remaining time will be an open Q&A so attendees can ask presenters questions about the ideas shared.

The Call for Presenters closes Friday, February 23, 2024.
Presenters are asked to submit their single image by Friday, March 1, 2024.

About Your Host
Tania Marien is an independent environmental educator with 20 years of experience connecting educators and freelance professionals and introducing their work to new audiences; she began showcasing independent work at ArtPlantae and continues this effort through Talaterra, its podcast, and events. Her professional history includes leadership roles, coaching, conference presentations, museum talks, publications, workshops, and public events related to environmental education, botany, art, and freelancing.
Tania is a member of the Association of Independents in Radio, the National Association for Interpretation, and the North American Association for Environmental Education.
