Tech Talk 1: AI that Speaks Winery: Designing for Adoption
Speaker: John Tan, Corkvision
Abstract: Most conversations around AI focus on what's technically possible. At CorkVision, we focus on what’s adoptable. In this session John will share how his team is designing Corky, an AI assistant purpose-built for wineries, with adoption in mind: accessible UX, winery-native context, and trust-driven AI. CorkVision aims to embed AI into everyday workflows for winery Managers, tasting room staff, and marketers. This talk is a candid look at what it takes to build AI that works for the wine industry.
Tech Talk 2: Reduce your memory footprint
Speaker: Steven Liu, HuggingFace
Abstract: Modern transformer models have billions of parameters which can make it challenging to load and run these models for inference on consumer GPUs. At Hugging Face, we want to empower more developers by making these large models runnable by anyone. This talk takes a look at some of the memory-reducing features such as quantization, sharding, and offloading in Transformers and Diffusers that can help you fit large models on your hardware.
Tech Talk 3: MeCP: Contextualizing Your Personal Agent
Speaker: Russell Horton, GitHub
Abstract: What if your AI agent didn’t just follow instructions—but actually understood your work, helped you grow, and made your output better? A great AI agent deeply understands your professional world. In this talk, Russell will introduce you to the agent he's been building—a true collaborator that represents "me" across diverse contexts, offers insights, and actively supports day-to-day work. Together, he and his agent will demonstrate their unique partnership.
