Metagov Community Call - September 12
On this week's Metagov Community Call, we will be co-producing a collective note-taking document & preparing questions and discussion points for the event "Beyond Discourse Dumpster Fires" at Harvard's Berkman Klein Center happening the same day, 30 minutes after the call from 1:30 PM - 5:00 PM ET. [RSVP here]. Then, later, we can attend the event together and simultaneously take collaborative notes using our shared document.
After the event, we will synthesize the notes and prepare a report that we can decide what to do with afterwards, with options range from:
a. producing a newsletter,
b. submitting the report to KOI's knowledge base, and
c. submitting the report to the event organizers.
See here for a more detailed description of this that led to this being formally proposed.
More about Metagov's Community Calls:
Community Calls are a bi-weekly meeting of any member of the Metagov Community to discuss community initiatives, topics, and issues. They were started in April 2024, and starting from May 23 will run on a bi-weekly basis on Thursdays at 12-1pm Eastern Time.
We are discussing the option of having one or more meetings take place at a different time to accommodate different time zones for the community. If you are a community member in a time zone that is friendly for members of the community in Asia, please connect with a member of the Community Team (Cent Hosten & Val Elefante)
