We are happy to invite you to the first Infobip Connect Meetup in NYC! Our event will be hosted in the The Farm SoHo!
The mission of our meetup is to present local tech initiatives and to introduce Infobip Developer Community tools and solutions, which are increasingly popular among developers and Infobip Startup Tribe that help startups from all over the globe achieve their goals.

⏳ About speakers:
Patrick McGinnis
Patrick J. McGinnis is an international venture capitalist, host of the hit podcast FOMO Sapiens, and author of Fear of Missing Out: Practical Decision-Making in a World of Overwhelming Choice. Patrick coined the term FOMO (Fear of Missing Out), as well as the related term FOBO (Fear of a Better Option) in a 2004 article in the student newspaper of Harvard Business School. FOMO has since been added to the dictionary and FOBO has become an increasingly popular framework to describe choice paralysis.
Patrick is also the author of international bestseller The 10% Entrepreneur: Live Your Startup Dream Without Quitting Your Day Job. He has been featured in The New York Times, Politico, The Financial Times, The Guardian, and Inc, and gave a popular 2019 TED Talk on FOBO and decision-making. Originally from Maine, Patrick is a graduate of Georgetown University and Harvard Business School. He has visited 113 countries and lives in NYC. More at patrickmcginnis.com.
Beth Ferreira
Beth Ferreira was formerly a General Partner at FirstMark Capital. An accomplished operations leader, board member and venture investor, Beth focuses on supply chain, commerce infrastructure, next generation commerce and marketplaces.
Prior to FirstMark Capital, she founded and was the Managing Partner at WME Ventures, the venture capital arm of WME IMG, where she invested in innovative companies such as Glossier, Daily Harvest, Warby Parker (NYSE: WRBY), Within (acq. by Meta) and Masterclass.
Prior to this role, Beth was Chief Operating Officer at Fab where she led the strategic development and expansion of the company’s global operations, supply chain and customer service infrastructure. As an early senior executive at Etsy, Beth served as Vice President, Finance & Operations and played a pivotal role in transforming the company into a lifestyle brand and profitable global e-commerce platform, seeing revenue growth skyrocket during her tenure. Before joining Etsy, Beth has also held positions at Flatiron Partners, The Boston Consulting Group and Union Bank of Switzerland.
Beth holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.
Adam Thomas
What can we learn by following our curiosity, embracing the unknown, and creating amidst chaos? This is the question that propels Adam Thomas’s career as a technologist, product expert, and all-around thinker and creator. His answer so far? Iva Vukina
Iva is Managing Director in Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs. She leads the Investment Grade Financing and Corporate Derivatives businesses for the firm’s Consumer and Retail clients. Previously, Iva started and led the Credit Solutions business, which creates capital and tax efficient funding solutions. Iva joined Goldman from Citigroup in 2014.
Iva serves on the Board of Directors of the Grace Institute, the Zagreb School of Economics and Management International Advisory Board, and is President of the Association of Croatian American Professionals New York Chapter. She is co-chair of the Brooklyn Academy of Music Young Producers Executive Committee and a Public Theatre Young Partner.
Originally from Croatia, Iva is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Cornell University. She lives in Brooklyn.
Filip Sasic
He works globally with young startup founders and builds entrepreneurship development models in emerging ecosystems focusing on creating economic and social impact. He was the Managing Director for Southeast Europe at Network 20/20 where he managed an incubator program in the U.S. for tech-focused ventures from Southeast Europe. He mentors and supports future founders in their customer discovery, value proposition development, and building traction towards their MVPs. He also is the Founder of SEED (Southeast Europe Entrepreneurship & Development), an organization based out of Serbia. NYC, Southeast Europe, and the Adriatic are his home.
Mike Elsmore
Mike has been causing chaos on the internet for more than a decade. He’s been around to see a lot happen (and sometimes help it along). He loves building and learning in the open and sharing what he gains along the way. Currently, he's a developer advocate working with the SDKs at Infobip.
