The Salon X BLANCO
Welcome to The Salon's 3rd New York event. This Salon will be taking place in a private Brooklyn townhouse residence. Open bar courtesy of Barrel Smith & Aupale Vodka.
For returning Salon friends – welcome back!
For new friends – you are going to love it 😊
The Salon is a nod to the intimate Salon parties of early modern France, where art wasn’t just displayed, but celebrated, critiqued and supported by friends in a private home.
We’ve reimagined this concept for today, creating a space where contemporary art is experienced in a more tender and meaningful way – that’s often lost in traditional exhibitions.
Welcome to your Modern Day Salon.

Helena Kozuchowicz
Helena Kozuchowicz is a Brazilian visual artist known for her fluid lines and bold gestures, capturing everyday moments that reveal the subtleties of human interaction. Her portraits explore the nuanced ways figures engage with each other and their environments, transforming ordinary actions into compelling visual narratives.
With a background in architecture, Kozuchowicz brings a deep sensitivity to spatial relationships, suggesting architectural forms that allow her subjects to inhabit various domestic and public spaces without explicitly defining them. She highlights the quiet beauty of ordinary life, from subway cars to intimate dining rooms, focusing on how humans navigate and occupy space.
Since 2022, she has been based in New York City, working from her studio in Dumbo, Brooklyn, after earning an MFA from the New York Academy of Art, continuing to explore the depth and meaning of everyday moments through her art.
Justin Cole
Justin Cole is an artist working in Brooklyn, N.Y. His work touches on the human condition, levels of consciousness, and death. He illustrates these themes through the combination of figurative realism and abstract expressionism. Cole utilizes a refined palette, compressed values, and organic subject matter to steer viewers toward a curated emotional experience while leaving ample room for personal interpretation.
Tibo V Ducimetière
Self taught painter developing a distinctive visual style using a mix of airbrush and oil painting techniques that gives his paintings their particular atmosphere. His work features dream-like scenes where subjects are illuminated against a dark background, exploring themes that straddle the line between familiarity and intrigue, always with a focus on aesthetic research.
Leo Psaros
A graphic designer and illustrator turned fine artist, Leo maintains his illustrative style in his paintings. His work simplifies life into its fundamental shapes, figures, and message, leaving it up to the viewer to make of what's left.
Kaelin Palcu
Kaelin is an acclaimed interdisciplinary artist born in Toronto in 1994. Her training spans a BFA in Sculpture and Installation from OCAD University, studies at the Florence Academy of Art and Barcelona Academy of Art, and an MFA in Drawing from the New York Academy of Art, where she received multiple honors including the Sculpture Scholar Award, David Schafer Artists of Excellence Scholarship, Service Scholar Award, Parton Scholarship, and LCU Scholarship. Palcu has exhibited internationally and earned an Honorable Mention in the 2023 ARC Salon competition. Her public commissions comprise the Waterton National Park Visitor Centre, Reconciliation Totem Pole at UBC, and Shaman's Dream at the University of Manitoba. Palcu spent her life in a state of transience as her father, a physicist, had a job that moved her family across the world. She developed an obsessive curiosity about people and intimacy through the lens of an observer. The isolation of frequent moves meant much of her time was spent alone, learning about her own experience through her hands - one of her few constants. Palcu's work investigates themes of contact, touch, isolation, anonymity, sensuality, relationships, pleasure and the body.
