About Event

Join the Sacramento Psychoanalytic Society on Friday, May 31st from 6 PM to 8 PM as we gather for an evening of wine, cheese, and talking about midlife crises.

Analyst and physician Dr. John Thor Cornelius will explore the history, tensions, and possible future trajectory of the midlife crisis. We will explore the tensions this concept exposes between Freudian and Jungian perspectives, discuss its trajectories and pitfalls, examine impacts from both individual and societal perspectives, as well as the implicit possibility of transcendent growth.
