About Event

Join Citizens' Climate Lobby SF for a timely discussion on the intersection of climate change, rising costs, and the policies that can tackle these urgent challenges.

KQED Climate Reporter, Laura Klivans, will moderate a conversation exploring how climate policies, especially Cap-and-Trade and electric rate reforms, can speed up the clean energy transition, while helping lower costs for Californians.

Our panelists are:

  • Tony Sirna, Deputy Policy Director, Evergreen Action

  • Megan Leary, Community Engagement and Policy Manager, Emerald Cities Collaborative

  • Lane Smith, Postdoctoral Scholar, Climate and Energy Policy Program, Stanford University

Join us at Manny’s, a vibrant community space, located just steps from the 16th Street BART Station. The event space opens at 5:00 PM, and the discussion will begin at 5:30 PM.
