🌈 PFLAG @ LA Pride
PFLAG Los Angeles warmly invites queer families, friend and allies to march with us in the LA Pride Parade on Sunday, June 8th! 🌈
Marching in the Pride Parade is one of our favorite times of the year and we hope you love it too! Thanks for supporting PFLAG 💗
Where to meet: We will share our parade number and staging area here closer to the date. PFLAG coordinators will be there to welcome you from 10am, wearing PFLAG shirts.
Timing & route: Step off is at 11am, so you don't need to meet at our spot until a little before 10:45am. The route will start at Sunset and Highland Ave, proceed north to Hollywood Blvd, travel east to Cahuenga, turn south at Cahuenga, and end at Sunset. It should be finished by 12:30–1pm; after that we are free to mingle and enjoy the atmosphere 🎉

What to wear: Anything Pride or bright rainbow colors. Bonus points for PFLAG t-shirts or merch! (Please do not wear anything that says Shake Shack or we will be billed the corporate parade rate)
What to bring: Pride flags and/or signs you make that say things about being proud, supporting LGBTQ+ family members, We Love You!, etc.
Also bring: Water, Sunscreen, Hat, Sunglasses
We are also allowed to play music - our parade lead Max will bring a speaker and we invite you to add to the playlist.
Food & drink: If anyone wants to bring donuts, coffee, etc, to share while we are waiting to start, that would be really nice. But we have to take everything we bring with us on the parade route, there isn't usually a trash can at the staging area.
A wagon with water bottles, etc. would be amazing if anyone has one.
