To help you get the most out of Performance Reviews this year, we’re sharing the Manager’s Guide, brought to you by Hypercontext CCO Jocelyn Brown, executive coach and Elevate Leadership COO Lindsey Nehls, and PolicyMe VP of People and Culture, Vanesa Cotlar.

We’ll cover Preparation, Leading the Conversation, and Managing Emotions before and during the review.

Lindsey Nehls, Executive coach and Elevate Leadership COO

Lindsey is an Executive Coach and Leadership Development Trainer. After years as an executive in clean-tech, where she was SVP of sales, she realized her true passion was in leadership coaching and organizational development. She loves to help individuals, teams and organizations evolve and grow. Her superpower is partnering with People and HR leaders to develop the perfect program to train their managers and scale their organizations.

Lindsey studied at Harvard Business School and Middlebury College. She is certified in New Ventures West Coaching to Excellence, DISC, Booth, and Center for Creative Leadership 360 assessments. Lindsey is also a First Round Capital Mentor. When she is not with her clients, she is mountain biking, skiing, and spending time with her family.

Jocelyn Brown, Hypercontext CCO

Jocelyn Brown is Head of Customer Success and Sales at Hypercontext focused on helping managers lead high performing teams. She has spent more than 15 years in B2B SaaS and brings extensive experience building and managing high-performing customer success teams that drive recurring revenue and value, and develop life-long customers.

Vanesa Cotlar, PolicyMe VP of People and Culture

Vanesa Coltar is an ambitious, people-first leader who spends her days as the VP of People & Culture at PolicyMe. She is passionate about building flexible workplaces and advocates for transparency and ongoing feedback from employees to increase attraction, retention and satisfaction.

In her spare time, Vanesa can be found exploring a new part of the world, contributing to people & culture conversations and offering her time to start-ups that need help structuring their people practices. Vanesa was selected as one of Culture Amp's Top 25 Emerging Culture Creators, as well as a finalist for HRO Today Association's Individual HR Excellence Award for North America for 2023.
