​Let's talk more about DeFi 💰⛓

​For our third session, we will pick some threads from the last T2C session - 'Building DeFi for the Masses' - and focus our attention on exploring some real-world use cases of DeFi. As a group, we will try to answer one fundamental question - what good can DeFi do for the masses in a real-world setting (as opposed to online)?

​The main theme of our conversation will be credit. There is a multi-trillion dollar credit gap for small businesses in emerging markets that has not been adequately addressed by existing financial institutions. This time at T2C, we will cover models which solve this issue by sourcing decentralised capital and providing it to small-medium size businesses.

​A core concept in focus will be Real-World Assets (RWAs). We plan to discuss a range of topics related to RWAs during the event, including a fundamental understanding of RWAs, diverse types of RWAs, their potential applications, associated challenges, and case studies.

​The Hashed Emergent team will start by sharing basic information about the topic that will bring everyone up to speed. We will then pose some open questions for all of us to consider. Here's a detailed agenda:
