Vancouver Emerging Technology Showcase (by TKS)
With emerging technologies like AI, Gene Editing, Brain Computer Interfaces rapidly evolving and impacting our world, it’s more important than ever that the next generation is prepared and ready to make positive future impact.
After 10 months of training, TKS students will be showcasing their projects together with Vancouver's tech community through pitches, panels, keynote speakers and brainpods (think structured convos & discussions on emerging tech)
Here are a few examples of projects that will be showcased at the event:
AI + Drones to make plant health detection easier
Brain Computer Interfaces to help people in paralysis move again
Prototypes to improve Quantum Error Correction to make quantum computing more feasible
AI to help create and safely select lab-grown cells that could one day replace damaged ones and cure diseases like diabetes or paralysis
AI to develop drugs to help for Arthritis treatment
and more...
This event is open to the TKS community (current students, incoming students, alumni, family & friends of students) and friends within the Vancouver ecosystem (mentors, founders, investors, entrepreneurs, operators).
