​Founders and Futures is an event series at the intersection of culture, community, and early-stage tech.

​Our first event hosted by Flybridge, Kinfolq, and Matchplicity is focused on bringing more Black talent into leadership roles at seed and series A companies and is being held at SohoWorks Brooklyn.

​Black employees make up just 7.4% of the tech workforce, yet, tech has and will continue to be the number one driver for wealth creation over the next several decades. Tapping into this opportunity and closing the gap requires more than Black founders getting funded, it requires Black talent on the leadership teams of companies at or close to their inception.

​Join us for a panel discussion and cocktail hour that aims to demystify the pros and cons of working in early-stage tech companies specifically targeting Black talent. This event, designed to connect Black professionals and VC-backed founders looking to diversify their teams, will shed light on the distinct advantages and potential drawbacks of joining startups and emerging companies that prioritize attracting and retaining Black talent.
