Folk N Stomp @ Rubulad
Folk N Stomp. It's a folkin party on a Thursday night at Rubulad. Come sing, dance and play for a night at Rubulad. Stomping encouraged, dancing, singing, yelling, hell yeah. Swaying, headnodding accepted. If you subtly tap your foot you will be asked to leave. Let's do it.
Featuring: The Tumblers, Evan Tyor, Allie Chip
Doors: 7pm
The Tumblers are shaking things up—and not just in their New York City neighborhood. Formed in Brooklyn, this folk-rock band is making a name for itself with its raucous live shows and unexpected approach to the genre.
The Tumblers are gearing up for the release of their debut album, Tangerine, set to drop March 28, 2025. The 13-song record ranges from haunting ballads to foot-stomping anthems
Evan Tyor writes contemplative songs with soaring melodies, careful chords and good humor. He is a multi-instrumentalist, producer/engineer and composer with a diverse background in folk, rock and roll, punk, rnb, indie and classical music.
Allie Chip is a Hudson Valley-based folk artist whose songs are so relatable that you'll likely find yourself... relating to them. Especially if you’re a millennial who has ever asked the question: "wtf?" lol, but really: Allie's songs are humorous, heartful, and ultra-relatable — a la Olivia Barton and John Craigie. She has performed her original music on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, received honorable mention in the Telluride Bluegrass Troubadour Competition, and was selected as a 2024 Emerging Artist at Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, among other accolades. Allie writes and records custom wedding songs through her business, Give Love Originals (GLO).
