Mischief Makers: #IamRemarkable workshop with Romy

​We are excited to invite you to attend a special #IamRemarkable workshop with our brilliant community member Romy Alexandra !

​ #IamRemarkable is a Google initiative empowering women and underrepresented groups to speak openly about their accomplishments in the workplace and beyond.

​Many of us struggle when it comes to talking about our own accomplishments. Cultural and gender modesty norms as well as impostor syndrome can prevent anyone from acknowledging their remarkable attributes and expressing their achievements.

​The #IamRemarkable program aims to: 

​👉 Improve the motivation and self-promotion skills of women and underrepresented groups 

​👉 Change social perceptions and refresh the conversation around self-promotion 

About the workshop:
During the 90 minute interactive session, you will learn the importance of self-promotion in your personal and professional life and be equipped with tools to develop this skill. You will also be invited to challenge the social perception around self-promotion.

​What can you expect?
You can expect to participate in group discussions and exercises to develop the confidence and skills to promote yourself effectively. We will:

• ​Share data and research regarding self promotion and unconscious bias 

• ​Go through exercises to help you articulate your achievements and practice self promotion

• ​Engage in meaningful discussions and share take home exercises
