What?
On Saturday we are hosting a Web3 hackathon for ambitious developers in Buenos Aires (Capital). Everyone that is approved to join will be paid for the days they attend and hack.
After the completion of the hackathon on Saturday evening, Noves will be looking to hire those developers that exhibited solid technical skills during the hackathon, are excited about working in the space, and are a good fit for the Noves team. We're aiming to hire multiple developers across different competencies.
Why?
Noves is building a team of talented individuals in Buenos Aires to do cutting edge work in the Web3 space. We are at the forefront of blockchain data access and are looking for the best and brightest to join us in our mission to bring better blockchain data to the world.
This format provides the best way for us to get to know YOU and you to get to know US. By the end of the weekend, we'll know exactly how each other work and have a good sense of whether we might be a long term fit.
And regardless of the outcome, we'll have done something interesting along the way, had some fun, and hopefully learned a lot.
Who?
You are an experienced developer that loves to learn, prefers to work with smart teammates that challenge you to be better, eagerly tackles hard problems, and doesn't give up when running into roadblocks. You love technology for what it can do for humanity.
We're looking for the following:
Someone to lead a team, senior members who can handle entire projects on their own, and potentially junior developers who really stand out.
You should have expertise in at least one of:
React + TS
Python
C#
It is preferred, but not required, that you have existing experience or exposure to blockchain. If you do not, you will be playing catch up and your other skills/experience must be outstanding. At a minimum, we hope that you are as excited about the promise of blockchain as we are.
How?
You must follow the instructions below or you will be disqualified from the hackathon.
Register for the hackathon (this event). Please answer carefully as the questionnaire will determine your eligibility.
All candidates must complete a brief screening prior to the hackathon - there are virtual and in-person screenings. Only one is required. In the next section you'll find options to register for an online screening on Monday or Tuesday, or for an in-person screening on Thursday. Pick the day of your preference and register for the associated event.
(Optional) You may attend our online seminars on Monday. You will have a chance to learn about Noves, about the problems we are solving, and about blockchain in general. Pick only one day (as the content will be the same).
NOTE: Once you have completed a screening (online Monday/Tuesday, or in-person Thursday), your attendance for the hackathon will be approved or denied and you will be supplied with additional details.
