We’ve made it to Brooklyn, now let’s make it feel like home! Join us for an all day housewarming as we have officially settled into our new space. Meet our incredible instructors, hosts, volunteers, and the creative community that makes Drawing Room special.
Collage Station: Drop by our collage table anytime to make a postcard for the new Drawing Room, and feel free to bring supplies to donate.
Art Supply Testing Bar: Try out stamps, pens, markers, and more from our art library at mini testing stations throughout the space.
Community Zines: Join us in creating tiny zines on themes of creativity to live in our in-house zine library.
Live Portrait Sketching: Sit for a quick portrait by one of our featured artists, available throughout the event!
Open Studio Show: Explore artwork by our instructors and community members, with stories behind each piece and the workshops that shaped them.
Remix Display: Preview our summer programming through a curated display of Remix projects and what inspired them.
Photo Booth: Snap a pic in front of our iconic 10-yard curtains and tag us using our event hashtag!
Craft Coffee + Drinks Station: Enjoy thoughtfully brewed drinks from @ummashouse!
We'll all be there together at 6:30PM for some special programming as we turn this housewarming into the perfect Summer evening!

MPORTANT NOTES: All tickets are final sale. We are a shoes-off, socks-required space; please bring your own socks or we have some for purchase for $1. Our events are geared towards connection through creativity; for many, you will be sitting around shared tables. Unfortunately, during ticketed events, we are unable to accommodate any children/babies under 5 years of age. Dogs are also not permitted at events. Upon entering our space you are consenting to photography/videography that may be used for promotional purposes.
