East Thanet General Election 2024 hustings for Margate
Please come along to ask questions and hear the answers from your local candidates standing to be the Member of Parliament for East Thanet.

Our democracy means we can find out what those who seek to represent us stand for. We can determine their integrity, question their policies and hold them to account.
To take part, and submit a question, please register (above). There is no cost to take part.
A selection of questions will be chosen. At the event, you will be welcome to ask your question from the floor. And there will also be a box to submit questions at the event.
Candidates will briefly introduce themselves, their aspirations as your representative, and their party’s policies and plans for East Thanet, nationally and internationally. We will then take questions.
This non-selective hustings is being organised and paid for by Nico Macdonald, a Margate private citizen. The event is not affiliated to or underwritten by any organisation, political or otherwise. It is an opportunity for us, the voters, to take responsibility for those to whom we will give political power. Donations welcomed.
