Field Trip: Farmer's Market
This event is a version of Meiying’s Field Trip workshop, for which you can find details here. In this edition, we’ll venture into Union Square Farmer's Market!
Come sketch the colors of the season with us! We'll begin at the Union Square Farmers Market, letting the vibrant produce and lively farmstands be the muse of our sketchbooks. Chat with local growers and learn the stories behind the produce, letting sketching to become a way to listen, observe, and connect. We will soak in the sights, and capture textures and colors through through quick line studies and color swatches.
After a coffee pit stop with the group, we’ll stroll to Washington Square Park, where we'll continue sketching city life. This is a gentle, creative walk through the heart of NYC, perfect for beginners and seasoned sketchers alike!
This workshop will include a custom Drawing Room tote bag and sketchbook. Various drawing and writing materials will be provided as well.
