Redesigning Products for a Greener Future: A Pop-up Innovation Lab
Have you been sitting at panel events all day? Would you like to move your body, spark creativity, and connect with like-minded creatives? Join the Sustainability Creatives for a fun and interactive Design Thinking workshop on Wednesday afternoon! We will redesign a commonly used product with sustainability in mind– and we will do this in 1.5 hours. The goal of this session will be for you to put your creative cap on, have fun, connect with others, find friends or future collaborators, and feel less alone in fighting climate change. We've got a beautiful collaboration space in downtown LA, yummy snacks and refreshments, and we’d really like to meet you!
Who are we?
The Sustainability Creatives is a gathering place for people who seek to apply their creative strengths to their passion for the planet. We are a small but mighty team of 3 female entrepreneurs and we're looking to find our LA Sustainability Creatives this Climate Week!
Whether you're a recent grad struggling to find your first job out of college, an ecopreneur looking for advice for your small business, a sustainability professional facing creative roadblocks or a climate job-switcher looking to transition your role into climate, the Sustainability Creatives Hub welcomes you!
What do we do?
We offer free virtual #OpenDoorClimate Office Hours every Tuesday at 12PM PT and Feedback Friday sessions every Friday at 12PM PT. These sessions are facilitated by co-founders Leah Mosier and Lila Roginski and are based on Design Thinking principles. Our current theme is Leadership as a Sustainability Creative: How to Build Influence. You can sign up for these events by navigating to our ‘Open Events' tab on the Hub or by subscribing to our Luma Calendar.
We also offer community and educational resources to Sustainability Creative job seekers, entrepreneurs, and professionals through membership to our Sustainability Creatives Hub. We provide self-paced eLearning courses on topics like job interviewing, pitching, CV & portfolio design, non-cringey networking, as well as peer-to-peer collaboration groups, a sustainability creative job board, 1:1 coaching from climate professionals, and 4-week cohort accelerators.
