Sunday Hike #3: Batteries to Bluffs Trail
Let's explore one of San Francisco's most scenic coastal trails! The Batteries to Bluffs Trail offers stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge, historic military batteries, and dramatic coastal cliffs. Along this moderately challenging trail, we'll experience:
• Panoramic views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Marin Headlands
• Historic military batteries from World War II
• Beautiful coastal bluffs and native plants
• Optional detour to Marshall's Beach (tide permitting)
Meet at: 6302 Merchant Rd, San Francisco, CA 94129 parking lot at 9:00 AM (free parking and restrooms available). Please arrive early as parking fills up quickly. ⚠️ We'll wait a few minutes for latecomers, but will start promptly to stay on schedule.
