Come meet fellow builders and entrepreneurs and chat with the Stripe team. We'll have food and cocktails on hand, but please bring questions about Stripe and building in Toronto!

About the panelists
David Singleton is chief technology officer at Stripe, where he is responsible for guiding its engineering and design teams as they build economic infrastructure for the internet. Since joining Stripe, David has helped grow the technology org across the US and developed new engineering hubs in Singapore and Dublin as well as Stripe’s fifth hub, remote engineering, across the globe.
David joined Stripe after an 11-year career at Google where he was VP of Engineering leading product development and coordinating more than 15 different hardware partnerships. Prior to Google, David spent three years at Symbian, the pioneering mobile phone operating system, developing operating system software and leading handset development projects for Nokia and Samsung smartphones.
David has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from St. John’s College at the University of Cambridge. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, skiing, and tinkering with neural networks. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and two kids.
Robleh Jama is a founder, advisor and investor based in Toronto currently working on his latest venture, Boom. He was previously a Director of Product at Shopify, where he co-created the Shop app, with 100 million users and 10s of millions of shoppers using Shop every month. Prior to that, Robleh founded Tiny Hearts, an award-winning mobile product studio that caught the attention of Shopify and was subsequently acquired in 2016. At Tiny Hearts, Robleh launched multiple highly regarded apps that garnered millions of downloads worldwide. His products have earned him features in prestigious publications like Wired and the New York Times, along with an appearance in an Apple commercial. Robleh's passion lies in crafting beautiful products that make people's lives better in small yet meaningful ways.
Sanjana Basu is an Investor at Radical Ventures since 2019. Sanjana believes in the deeply disruptive power of AI to create value across the stack and enjoys working with technically differentiated teams building AI businesses across verticals. Her investments include Nabla Bio, Orbital Materials, PocketHealth, Signal 1, Synex, Lisa Health, and Ubenwa.
Before joining Radical, Sanjana was an investor in deep tech, consumer tech, and fintech at the Venture arm of the Tata Group in India. Before that, she was an investment banker at Barclays.
Born and raised in Mumbai, India, she completed her MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM-B), and her undergraduate in Economics & International Relations from Tufts University in Boston, US.
