About Event

In collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Centre at Saïd Business School, OxAI and Reuben College; we are excited to offer a mini-boot camp for Oxford Students who are exploring the idea of building their own startup.

This is an event for both technical individuals, and those who would focus more on the business side.

This is an opportunity to get hands-on experience in the early stages of the company-building process: if you are not certain that building a company is for you, this is your opportunity to find out.

Entrepreneur First is a highly selective, 3-month long programme. We bring together the few individuals with the potential to found globally important technology companies, to meet their co-founder and build startups from scratch.

We were founded on the belief that the world is missing out on some of its best founders. In particular, we believe this is because the best companies come from co-founding partnerships – but finding the right person in your existing network can be hugely challenging. In fact, it’s a matter of pure luck.

The event will take place between 3 pm and 7 pm on the 8th of March.

The mini-boot camp will comprise sessions delivered by the Entrepreneur First team on the following:

  • How to identify your “edge” (your unique combination of knowledge and skills that form your unfair advantage when ideating)

  • How to select a co-founder with a complementary “edge”

  • How to navigate the “idea maze” with a co-founder

  • The opportunity to ideate with others and receive feedback from the Entrepreneur First team

Spaces at this event will be limited and in the instance that it is oversubscribed, places will be awarded selectively.
