​Ben's Background: Ben started at McKinsey and later joined the Chicago Mayor’s Office doing economic development policy prior to Stanford GSB. While at Stanford, he started his own practice (Elevate Advisory), working with startup CEOs of varying stages, PE shops and VCs. Today he’s based in NYC, building a chess coaching marketplace (townsquarechess.com) while continuing his coaching and advisory work in tandem. Ben earned his undergraduate at Washington University in St. Louis, where he majored in Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology and Economics.
