​This workshop builds the skills, tools, and tactics to debunk attacks on DEI and stand up strong against the removal of history and truth in education.

​Every 6-8 weeks, Jim Morris, his colleagues, and special guests take on and explain the facts behind misinformation or fear-based tactics designed to stop progress with respect to creating equity and inclusion at a systemic level in the U.S.

• ​Learn the meaning and usefulness of terms like equity, inclusion, diversity, Critical Race Theory, etc. and become comfortable talking about these concepts with DEI skeptics.

• ​Learn more about the art and practice of persuasion. Not to coerce or manipulate others, but to have genuine constructive dialogue across differences. 

• ​Make a shift from dismissal and outrage to curiosity and empathy when it comes to hearing the perspectives of others, especially when they are victims of mis- or disinformation.
