Led by Clarke' Lunara, bio below:
Clarke’ (Clark-EE) Lunara (Loo-nah-ruh) is the Chief Operations Officer of Candlelit Care, a company focused on providing preventative, predictive, and integrative mental health care for Black women and birthing people in the perinatal period. We center our coaching, app-based education, and screening through the lens of joy, destigmatizing mental health, and directly addressing the Black maternal health crisis in all that we do. Clarke has spent the last decade working as a community-based birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator, case manager, postpartum support group facilitator, and hospital educator. During her career, Clarke’ spearheaded management of the Education Department for the world’s largest international doula organization, conducting and supporting curriculum development, bias awareness and anti-racism work. Amidst her endeavors, she is proudly devoted to her role as a wife, and mother to a vibrant preschooler. Clarke’ believes that each individual is the professional of their lived experience and continues to work for the outcomes, experiences, and support systems that we all need and deserve.

At Candlelit Care, whether you are pregnant or postpartum for the 1st time or 5th time, we got you. Whether your baby or babies are 2 days or 2 years, you belong. Postpartum extends far beyond 6, 8, and 12 weeks (some of us dare say you're postpartum forever regardless of delivery outcome) and we want to create a space where you can arrive in authentic, honest, real motherhood alongside our community.
