​Catalina Island Day Trip – August 9, 2025

​Join us for a casual Catalina Island Day Trip! This is a chance to enjoy the island at your own pace while traveling together on the Catalina Flyer.

​🚢 Transportation Details

• ​Ferry: Catalina Flyer

• ​Departure Time: 8:45 AM

• ​Arrival at Terminal: Please arrive by 7:45 AM for check-in.

• ​Boarding: Begins at 8:15 AM.

​We’ll be taking the same ferry over to Avalon, but once we arrive, everyone is free to explore, relax, and plan their own day. Whether you want to snorkel, shop, rent a golf cart, or simply enjoy the beach—it's completely up to you.

​⏱️ Return Trip

• ​Return Ferry: Departs Avalon at 4:30 PM

• ​Please plan to arrive at the ferry terminal on time for boarding.

​Important Notes:

• ​Everyone is responsible for making their own reservations, meals, activities, and island plans.

• ​Ferry tickets must be purchased individually in advance.

• ​Bring anything you’ll need for a full day on the island.

2. ​Purchase ticket via Groupon ($77) or directly from the Catalina Flyer website ($94)

   2. ​If booking via Groupon, follow the Groupon instructions to book your Time and Date on the Catalina Flyer Groupon page below

      1. ​Book your Time and Date with the registration on this link: https://www.catalinainfo.com/groupon.

      2. ​Note: your total should come up as $82 ($10 extra for ship fees) if you're booking on the right Groupon booking page. It should not be $94.

3. ​For those coming from Los Angeles, you can join us in Newport or feel free to book your own passage via the Catalina Express ($92) in Long Beach

​Note: To ensure everyone is able to get onto the same boat, please book your tickets by 6/22/25 since the ship can run out of capacity.

​However, if sold out, please feel free to book passage with Catalina Express instead from whichever port is closest to you. It will arrive at the same location in Avalon.
