Understanding Gender Identity on Tuesday, June 29 at 2pm EST

Awareness and action to support a variety of gender identities are part of campus culture. However, the interplay between someone’s mental health and gender identity is less understood. This workshop will help you learn how to ensure LGBTQ2S+ students feel safe and supported, how to help others become allies, and how to foster a culture of respect and dignity throughout your campus.

Everyday Allyship on Thursday, July 8 at 2pm EST
While allyship is a common term on campuses and a behaviour that many students strive for, its practical application on campus is less understood. Related to standing with 2SLGBTQIA, BIPOC, Indigenous, and other minority groups, this workshop will explore what allyship is, why it’s an essential practice on campuses, and how anyone can practice it every day, facilitated by Lewis.
