Open Art Lab: Intuitive Painting. Acrylic Paints
Welcome at the Open Art Lab. Intuitive Painting Workshop where the creation flows freely, good talks & meet ups happen, and we immerse into intuitive painting to the curated cafe’s playlist.
While exploring the painting techniques with acrylics, we’ll be delighted by the coffee / matcha or other specialities from the menu of Relax na Wilczej.

In the first part of the workshop, we’ll cover the theoretical-practical introduction on colour theory and mixing paints techniques.
(*Everything will be enlisted in the booklet you’ll be given to review the painting tricks anytime you want.)
In the second part of the workshop we’ll express our creativity on big canvases following what the intuition and the music tell us: the painting doesn’t need to be abstract, it might be realistic as well - just follow anything that will come to you in this very moment. Trust the process.
Besides the paints and canvases, we’ll have some painting references and mixed form materials, to enrich our creation.
The topics that we’ll cover during the workshop include:
Colour wheel - complementary and analogous colours; mixing colours and the painting process, types of brushes and spatulas, painting tricks and experimental techniques on different surfaces.
As well as the painting mindset to unlock your creative expression and get rid of any blockages in your creation.
The workshop is facilitated by @magakolibri - a multidiciplinary artist from the fields of painting, dance and photography, who has gained her artistic knowledge at UNA, Universidad Nacional de las Artes, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and has continued her artistic journey ever since by learning from international artists of cross-media disciplines.
