β€‹β˜‚ T-minus one day: there WILL be rain 🌧

We will be in the indoor space: Pavillion

Join us for an extraordinary day of agricultural technology and innovation set amidst the serene backdrop of inner Melbourne's local community garden, CERES Brunswick.

The showcase is an outdoor accelerator demo day that brings together a diverse group of 10 founders at various stages of their journey, all committed to transforming the future of agriculture.

Over the night, you'll get the opportunity to see agtech in action, hear from industry leaders on how it translates commercially into the sector, tune in to the founders' 2023 journey, AMA to your hearts content, connect with the community and take a little stroll through nature.

For those who haven't been to CERES Brunswick, it is our pleasure to introduce you to the gem of the neighbourhood. Come along earlier to familiarise yourselves with the space, peek in the plant shop, community garden, seedling selections, workshop area, and bike shed.

β€‹πŸ‘©β€πŸŒΎ Who Should Attend

This event is open to everyone who is passionate about agriculture, food, sustainability, and innovation.

Whether you're a serial entrepreneur, a producer/ farmer, a technology tinkerer, an agtech curious individual, have someone in the family with a hobby farm, or simply someone who ponders bigger questions about logistics/ supply chain - join us in this learning experience.

β€‹βœ¨ For founders who are keen to establish a strong foothold into the agriculture scene - learn more about our Business of Agriculture program, designed to help entrepreneurs break into the space, or chat to our alumni directly on the day! ✨

β€‹πŸΈ Housekeeping

Please dress comfortably for the weather. There will be paved paths, gravel paths, and big plots of soil space so ensure you have comfy footwear. We'd recommend you to bring anything that will make your stay comfortable: umbrella, hat, closed toe shoes, sunnies, sunscreen, hand held fan, bug spray, etc.

The space itself is a nostalgic throwback to school camping weekends away, rustic cozy and most importantly - indoors!

At time of event listing, BOM has advised a 19min/ 35max kind of Friday night for us. Windbreaker, boots and umbrellas are your friend for fickle Melbourne weather.

That said - the area is surrounded by nature, there will be bugs, there will be birds, there will be squirrels, there are frogs by the creek, and all the chonky chooks to feed to your heart's content (please follow feeding instructions on the fence) - get ready to immerse yourself with the land!
