Is Design Broken? Let’s Talk About It.

Join us Feb 20th at 6 PM for After Hours: A Conversation on What’s Wrong in Design with Ritesh Kanchi.

⭐️ RSVP required

🎙️ We’re breaking down the real gaps in design—what’s missing, what’s misunderstood, and how it affects everyone, not just designers.

Ritesh Kanchi is a UW senior in computer science and HCI, with 8+ years of experience designing platforms for hundreds of thousands of users. His research focuses on building smarter, more inclusive interfaces—and he’s got some hot takes to share. 👀

🗣️ Expect bold opinions and take the chance to connect with curious minds across campus—whether you’re into design, business, computer science, psychology or just love a good hot take.

🔍 What role does HCI research play in decision-making? Why do so many “user-friendly” designs still frustrate us? Let’s figure it out together.

👥 Open to all majors, designers and non-designers—come for the controversy, stay for the conversation.
