Building in the Modern AI Stack

​This event is aimed at providing Northeastern Students with a space to collaborate on building a modern AI application using LLMs and modern architectures used to enhance the model’s capabilities. We will be conducting 4 Optional Labs:

1. Creating your Own AI Form Factor.
2. Building a RAG System.
3. Enabling Agentic Capabilities.
4. Running a Model Locally

​Lunch will be provided after the first two labs, fill out This Lunch Form before 10 am day of the event.

​We all started our learning journey somewhere! We strive to be kind and encouraging with all participants of all levels! With that said, if you would like, you can sign-up to present your work with other participants at the end of the day. Presentation Signup form. You are welcome to split into groups or work individually to build a new AI system that meets one or multiple of the following requirements: introduces a novel AI form-factor, uses RAG, has Agentic Capabilities, runs locally. Everyone who participates in the show and tells gets a prize.
