About Sona Aggarwal, Wizly Amplify Partner & Session Host:

​Sona has 25+ years of experience as a retailer. She started her career in New York, as a merchant with Macy's, Saks Fifth Avenue, and later at DFS (travel retail arm of LVMH group) - building assortments, pricing, promotions, and channel and distribution strategy. She has led multiple brand launches across Asia, most recently as Managing Director for Laser Clinics Australia in Asia (a KKR portfolio company). Before that, Sona successfully led franchising for iconic brands like Victoria’s Secret, and Bath & Body Works across APAC. She has been mentoring, advising, and investing in insurgent brands like 1 Magnolia Lane.

Her expertise spans multi-category D2C businesses across various business functions like P&L management, brand strategy, store operations, merchandising, marketing, buy-side M&A as well as business integration - from New York to Hong Kong, Singapore, and India.
