​America went from 165K solar homes in 2012 to 4.5M in 2024, thanks to new financing options, system cost reductions, utility rate increases, technology breakthroughs, bureaucratic victories, and the hard work of tens of thousands of mission-driven professionals.

​But customer trust is low

​It costs around $7,000 to convince a homeowner to go solar today. This is silly, but not surprising.

​Solar Coaster 2.0

​Is what we might call the next chapter of US residential solar. The one where America tries to solarize 40 million solar homes by 2030 because it is required for the pace of progress. We have an awesome spiel - "Sunlight hits your roof, powers your home, unlocks possibilities!", but success hinges on our ability to win back customer trust.
