BIOS:
Anita is a global talent strategy and operations professional with over 15 years of experience in operations and helping teams recruit, support, and retain diverse and engaged teams.
Anita began her career in the corporate sector; first with Deloitte Consulting as a strategy and operations consultant, and then at Goldman Sachs leading a team in their interest rate derivatives department. Later on, she joined the non-profit sector, working with Teach for America (TFA) for almost a decade across a variety of recruitment, strategy, and operations roles.
Currently, Anita leads the global talent strategy and operations team at Zapier, a fully remote, globally distributed leader in automation technology. In this role, she acts as a people leader, advisor, and contributor to multiple high-impact, strategic projects across the talent acquisition team.
Anita was born & raised in Bangalore, India. She moved to the United States to pursue her college education at Ohio Wesleyan University, where she received a BA in Economics & International Studies. She later pursued her master's degree in public policy at the National University of Singapore. Anita lives in Saint Paul, Minnesota, with her husband Vivek, their daughter Akhila, and their dog Bailey. She enjoys traveling, reading mystery novels, going on long hikes, and spending quality time with her family.
Darin Lim Yankowitz is the senior vice president of recruitment at Teach For America. He leads our work to find exceptional leaders who will devote their lives to the pursuit of racial and educational equity.
Previously, Darin held a variety of senior roles at TFA. Most recently, he was the vice president of people and performance, where he led our efforts to hire recruiters, train them to excel in their work, and support them—through data and analytics, strong performance development practices, and an inclusive and equitable culture—to thrive.
Darin is a graduate of UC San Diego (BA), Teachers College at Columbia University (MA), and Vanderbilt University (EdD) where he researched how people analytics can be used to advance inclusion and equity for historically marginalized students. He is a Pahara fellow, Schusterman senior fellow, and serves as the board president of Reach University. Outside of education, Darin co-leads Tzedek Circle, a monthly gathering of Jewish people dedicated to the pursuit of social justice.
Darin lives in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, with his partner, Naomi, their two children, Akemi and Takashi, and their dog, Genki. He is acutely aware of the fact that he is the only one in the family whose name does not end in the letter “i”.
Malinda Coler is a hiring and career tech leader with two decades of experience in education and tech. As CEO of Conversa, she breaks down barriers between leaders and job seekers, furthering her mission to create equal access to lucrative jobs. She previously founded Roadmap, leading a community of 8k+ job seekers to advance their career, specializing in extraordinary career leaps for women and people of color in tech. In addition to her work with AnitaB. org, Malinda coaches executives in tech, and hosts webinars for communities like The Mom Project, Women in Product, Day of Shecurity, and more.
