Live Edit with Alli Forsythe

​​Join me for a live edit session. I will be sharing some editing notes as well as my screen so you can see the entire system I've setup to create a seamless workflow and content development system.

​​To get the most out of the live, do these few things beforehand:

• ​​DOWNLOAD DAVINCI RESOLVE

  • ​​NGL, I am pretty biased. I've used many other editing platforms and this is my favorite on the market (at least for the last 3 years).

• ​​COMPILE A FOLDER OF 8-10 VIDEO CLIPS 

  • ​​When it comes to video editing, practicing while learning yields the best progress. If you have some clips at the ready in a folder on your desktop, you'll be able to play along with me.

• ​​CHANGE VIEW IN ZOOM 

  • ​​To get the best view of my screen and the notes I will be sharing you'll want to change your view once I share my screen. 

  • ​​In the top right corner of zoom click “Side by Side: Speaker View."  There will be one screen with myself and notes and the other with my editing software. In between the two will be a slider where you can change the size of either screen for the best view.
