​Hosted by Kaia and YouthTheGapCIC, this event creates space for the already-poets, the curious, the up-and-coming, and the quiet lovers of language. Whether you're picking up the mic for the first time or soaking in the rhythm from your seat, this night is for you.

​Headlined by Ell, the winner of Brighton's PoetsPalace, she will be joined by a live musician, Sam, and we will be exploring the themes of love, loss, mental health, and politics, with a particular focus on inclusive reform and social justice. Her writing is both personal and universal, creating space for reflection, resistance, and healing, and further uses her work to challenge societal norms, honour identity, and delve into the complexities of being human.

​Expect raw truth, revolutionary softness, and a celebration of creative expression in all its forms. We’ll explore how poetry holds our histories, fuels our futures, and connects us across generations.
