Why Jeff? Before transitioning into mental health counseling, Jeff Greenberg spent a decade in finance, including roles as a senior economist at J.P. Morgan and a currency strategist at UBS. During this time, he observed how money was both worshipped and a source of anxiety and separation...but also how its hold could be released.
Now, as a therapist, he helps clients transform their relationship with money, reducing financial stress and scarcity-driven patterns while fostering greater alignment, well-being, and purpose. By integrating economic systems thinking with somatic and therapeutic approaches, he offers a rare, holistic path to financial empowerment and healing.
He holds a Master’s in International Economics from Columbia University, a B.A. in International Relations from Tufts University, and is currently completing his mindfulness-based transpersonal counseling degree at Naropa University. He currently sees therapy clients through Root & Bloom in Chicago, provides coaching for high-achievers navigating transitions and integrating psychedelic experiences, offers whole-person coaching at Clay, and advises crypto founders.
